Ingredients

• Peppermint Oil (Mentha x piperita)
• Peppermint Oil (Mentha arvensis)

Indications- Personal Use

Place 3 drops of oil onto a tissue and inhale as required.

Add 3 drops to a bowl of hot water; cover head and inhale for 5-10 minutes - do not cover head if asthmatic

Add 2 drops to 5ml (1 teaspoon) of carrier oil and massage into chest and neck

Other Details

Peppermint oil is the extracted and distilled oil from the peppermint herb. Known for its multiple natural health benefits and medicinal uses Peppermint extract is, amongst many things used for treating indigestion and irritable bowel syndrome, headache, nausea, and fever. Said to be helpful in removing gas, and even in treating toothache and bad breath due to its antiseptic properties.

Peppermint oil contains numerous minerals and nutrients including manganese, iron, magnesium, calcium, folate, potassium and copper. It also contains omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamin A and Vitamin C.

Like other essential oils, such as Lavender, peppermint oil can soothe anxiety and restlessness and offer relief from stress and mental exhaustion due to its invigorating smell.

Peppermint Oil has also been said to be used as a repellent to mice, by placing a couple of drops onto a cotton ball, and leaving them in areas around the house or office, of concern.
